Drug abuse: Police arrested a 22-year-old Berlin Center man at Edwards Street and West Main Street on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Oct. 12

Crack: Police arrested a 49-year-old Youngstown man on West Main Street on charge of possession of crack cocaine.

Oct. 8

Theft: $30.01 in gasoline was stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Attempted theft: Damage to a vehicle door was reported in an attempted theft of the auto at a home in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: An Ohio lottery ticket was taken at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A battery was removed from a new vehicle on a car hauler at Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Meat was taken from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
