Thief ransacks Hillsdale Avenue home

YOUNGSTOWN — A thief ransacked a Hillsdale Avenue house over the weekend and stole a variety of items, including furniture, three televisions, two guitars, a coat and art work.

The 49-year-old resident of the home told police he left town on business Thursday and returned at 2 a.m. Sunday to find his front door open and the lock damaged.
