Mercer man charged with seeking sex with teen girls on the Web

MERCER, Pa. — A Mercer man accused of sexually soliciting what he believed were 13-year-old girls on the Internet became the 99th person charged by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit since the unit was created in January 2005.

Christopher L. Glaister, 29, of Quince Street is charged with three counts each of unlawful contact with a minor, sending sexual materials and performances over the Internet, and criminal use of a communication facility.

An affidavit filed to support the charges, contends that Glaister, using the screen name Kit16137 on a Yahoo chat room, approached three girls online asking for nude photographs. In each case, the person communicating with Glaister claimed to be a 13-year-old girl, but was really an agent with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office.
