SALEM — Sisters Amy and Katie Scullion plus Sarah Brobeck, Allison Ward and Taylor Toothman helped give the Quakers the outright Metro Athletic Conference championship. Amy Scullion had one ace, 15 kills and one block while Katie Scullion had eight aces, five kills and one block for coach Don Conser’s Quakers (19-0, 13-0). Brobeck contributed three aces, nine kills and one block. Ward had 10 kills and two blocks while Toothman had 32 assists. For East Liverpool (7-13), Rachel Klink had 19 points and four kills while Meredith Jones had 17 points and two kills. JVs: Salem, 25-21, 25-19.

Howland 25-25-25, Niles 13-12-17

HOWLAND —Katlyn Flick had six points, one ace, eight kills, two blocks and four digs to lead Howland (17-3, 11-2 MAC). Taylor Summerfield had six points, three aces, one kill, 19 assists, two digs and four saves while D.J. Hromyak had nine points, two aces, three kills, nine assists and two digs. For Niles (7-14, 4-9, Allie Moss had five points, two aces, two kills, six assists and four digs while Lindsay Bates had two points, five kills, two assists and three digs. POLAND — Kaylee Luklan had two digs, two aces, five points, 19 kills and one block. Rachael O’Hara had 35 assists, two aces, 13 points and three kills. Amanda Colonna added three digs, five aces and 18 points while Kelsey Owen had seven points and 13 kills to bolster the Cardinals (12-9, 9-4). For Poland (10-8, 8-5), Jill Wollet had 16 points, seven aces, 20 assists, eight kills and 11 digs. Katie Pompeii chipped in with 12 points, two aces, 11 digs and six kills while Lauren Tadla had five blocks and nine kills.

STRUTHERS — Amanda Belasco scored 10 points, four kills and two digs for the Wildcats (3-17, 3-13 MAC). Jenn Trevis had four digs while Kaitlyn Opritza had eight digs and two blocks. JVs: Struthers, 13-25, 25-13, 25-13.

YOUNGSTOWN — Jacquela Teamor scored 22 points and had 12 assists for the Cowboys (8-9, 2-2 Steel Valley Conference). Angel Parnell made five blocks and Alyssa Sykes had 18 digs. Jacquelyn Tondo-Steele led the Irish (2-17, 0-3) with three points, eight digs and four assists. Tymira Stenson made three blocks and three Kills. JVs: Ursuline, 25-20, 25-21.

WARREN — Stephanie Cervi scored 12 points and had 11 kills for the Eagles (14-5, 4-1 SVC). Rachel Ratcliff had 10 kills and Morgan Piacquadio had 20 assists and 20 digs.

WARREN — Dayna Daltorio scored 13 points and made six aces and seven digs for the Cardinals (16-2, 5-0 SVC). Jacci Wyman had 10 kills and three blocks. BROOKFIELD — Meghan Reiser had 36 digs for the Warriors (14-7, 6-7 Trumbull Athletic Conference). Brittany Hiner hade 64 assists, six points while Breanna Jones had 19 points and 19 digs. Olivia Bucci scored 18 points while Jessica Cardiero had 20 assists and 21 digs.

CHAMPION — Laura Giesy scored 11 points for the Bulldogs (19-2, 11-2 TAC). Haley Bates had 33 assists and Emily Malmisur had 13 kills. Leah Nicholas scored seven points and she had five kills for the Golden Flashes (7-14, 1-12). Megan Frantz had 13 assists. JVs: Lakeview, 25-9, 25-14.

Heather Reinhart led the Rams (2-19, 1-12) with four points, an ace and three kills. Jenna Spackman had seven assists.
