MAHONING COUNTY Children Services Board During their meeting Tuesday, agency officials handled this matter:

Hired Rochell Lindsey and Amy Tucker as child welfare caseworkers in CSB’s training unit. Both will be on six-month probationary periods and will likely spend part of their training doing rotations through some or all of the agency’s four departments —  intake, family services, resources and a residential program —  said Denise Stewart, executive director. Among other things, Lindsey and Tucker will learn about how cases are handled and investigated, Stewart noted. Intake deals with investigations; resources services takes care of adoptions and foster care; and the residential program oversees the agency’s three group homes, Stewart noted. Tucker or Lindsey could be placed in a full-time position if there’s a vacancy, she said, adding that CSB has about 54 such caseworkers.
