Toledo man shot in leg during visit

YOUNGSTOWN — A Toledo man in town to visit his girlfriend on Ohio Avenue told police he was shot in the leg after being hit in the head as he slept on the couch around 12:30 a.m. today. The 19-year-old victim didn’t see who shot him. He called his girlfriend, who was at a friend’s place nearby, to take him to the hospital for treatment. Police found one .380-caliber casing on the couch.
