YOUNGSTOWN — City police and fire departments were on the scene of a truck rollover on the on ramp to the Madison Avenue Expressway from South Ave. about 5:30 p.m. today.
A tanker truck hauling cement slur — cement without the hardener — rolled over while turning onto the on ramp and spilled the thick gray material onto the road. Fire crews spent several minutes flushing the area with water. South Avenue was closed at the time. A YPD officer said the driver received only scratches in the accident.
