Jackson-Milton drops S. Range


NORTH JACKSON — Jennifer Kolasky had 29 points, five aces, 14 sets and 42 assists, leading Jackson-Milton to a four-set victory over South Range in an Inter Tri-County League volleyball match Monday.

The scores were 25-16, 23-25, 25-12, 25-12.

Also for the Bluejays (17-2). Alyssa Chine had 19 kills and 27 attacks while Caitlin Keck had seven kills, 18 attacks and four blocks.

For the Raiders (8-12), Ashley Vaughn had eight kills and five blocks, Patty Shuster had three blocks, Jen Felt had 30 sets and 12 assists, and Loke Kalima had 25 digs.

YOUNGSTOWN — Tracey Barron scored eight points, Lisette Encarnacion had five kills and 11 digs, and Jacquela Teamor had 18 assists for Chaney (7-9).

For Lowellville (3-14), Jamie Hynes had 10 points and eight kills.

COLUMBIANA — Lauren Mitchell had seven assists for Heartland Christian (16-2). Brittany Ritcher had seven aces, five digs and seven kills while Kimberly Stearns had seven kills and 13 blocks.
