CANFIELD CITY

Oct. 2

Arrest: A 20-year-old Canfield man was arrested in

the 200 block of Saw Mill Run Road on charges of drug abuse after police found a marijuana blunt.

Carrying a concealed weapon: A 36-year-old Cortland man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon after police found a stainless steel handgun on him during a traffic stop at Lisbon Street.

Fraudulent charges: $310.96 worth of fraudulent charges on credit cards was reported by a resident in the 200 block of Sleepy Hollow Drive.

Marijuana: A 17-year-old Struthers boy was charged with drug

abuse after police found marijuana in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on W. Main Street.

Oct. 1

Theft: Numerous items were stolen at Wal-Mart , 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: A woman was issued a summons for criminal trespassing at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Counterfeit checks: Two counterfeit checks and money orders were received at 717 Credit Union, 6460 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A 2002 Ford Windstar was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 400 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Auto theft: A 1987 Cadillac was stolen from Hillbrook apartments parking lot, 446 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A rear window was broken out and an Am-FM-CD in-dash player was stolen from a car in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Theft: 30 bronze vases were stolen from burial plots at Greenhaven Cemetery, 3495 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal damaging: A lock on a trailer was cut at Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.

Breaking and entering: Tools were taken from a home in the 5000 block of Lou-Ida Boulevard.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipe and power tools were taken from a vacant residence in the 100 block of Viall Road.

Theft: A man was arrested for theft at K-Mart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Attempted theft: There are two suspects in an attempted theft from an auto at Sun Merchant, 3605 Mahoning Ave.

Identify theft: A $1,061.80 bill with East Ohio Gas in an identity theft case was reported at a home in the 50 block of McGuffy Road.

Attempted burglary: Entry was not gained at a home in the 200 block of S. Edgehill Ave.

Theft: A juvenile was arrested for theft at K-Mart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Personal injury: A dog bite was reported at Oakwood Ave. and Kenmar Court.

Theft: Tools were taken from a shed at a home in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Criminal trespassing: A woman was arrested for trespassing at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Identify theft: An account was opened in a victim’s name in the 100 block of Clearwater Cove.

Theft: A woman was arrested for theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A man is accused of criminal damaging at a home in the 300 block of DeHoff Drive.

Theft: A 2000 Dodge Durango was broken into and arrests were made at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive. Two men were charged with receiving stolen property, and numerous items were recovered. The same two men were arrested in a break-in of a 2006 GMC and the items they stole were recovered at the Hampton Inn, 880 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Oct. 5

Criminal trespassing: A man was arrested for trespassing at a home in the 300 block of DeHoff Drive.

Theft: A Garmin GPS was stolen at Perkins, 5550 Interstate Blvd.

Criminal damaging: Lights were damaged in a pavilion at Leonard Kirtz School, 4801 Woodridge Drive.

Theft: A gym bag containing bank books and other items was stolen from an auto at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Halloween decorations were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Wedgewood Drive.

Theft: Fuel was taken from a vehicle at Select Body Service, 6565 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Halloween decorations were damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Wedgewood Drive.

Criminal damaging: Tires were damaged on an auto at a home in the 400 block of Westchester Drive.

Oct. 6

Receiving stolen property: A man was placed in county jail for possession of stolen racing parts worth over $10,000 in the 3600 block of Connecticut Avenue.

Theft: A Jensen DVD monitor was stolen from an auto in the 500

block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A JVC AM-FM CD player was stolen from an auto in the 100 block of S. Beverly Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle tonneau cover was cut at a home in the 500 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A JVC stereo, wallet and Ohio license were stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Drug offense: Two males, one from Cuyahoga Falls and one from Akron, were arrested on drug charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Mahoning Ave. and Idaho Road.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 300 block of Kirk Road.

Theft: A purse and its contents were taken at Pete and Charlies’, 4176 Mahoning Ave.

Oct. 7

Disorderly conduct: A man was issued a summons for disorderly conduct in the 800 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A black purse, a red leather bag and a briefcase were taken

from an auto in the 1000 block of N. Meridian Road.

Criminal damage: A vehicle and lawn were damaged at a home in the 400 block of Westgate Boulevard.
