Pumpkin Patch Festival under way at Niles church


NILES — Events continue through Oct. 31 at First Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Robbins and Summit avenues, for the Pumpkin Patch Festival.

The festival runs noon to 8 p.m. weekdays. It runs noon to 9 p.m. weekends, when special events are planned, such as entertainment by the band The Bridge from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 13 and 20, fire safety house from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 20, a Civil War encampment Oct. 20 and 21, a petting zoo Oct. 13 and 27 and the clown Karmel Apple from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 20 and 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 27.
