EDGEWOOD, Ky. — The Titans (3-2, 1-1 Presidents’ Athletic Conference) came into the game ranked seventh in NCAA Division III defense, but Thomas More (3-2, 2-2) had 324 yards, including 184 passing. TMC quarterback Joey Zerhusen, a freshman making his first start, was 17-of-25 for 184 yards and two TDs. Titans QB Kevin Franz was 19-of-27 for 116 yards and an interception. Nick McKolosky rushed for 77 yards.
Salisbury 20, Geneva 7
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — Bobby Bondi passed for 186 yards (23-for-32) but the Golden Eagles (4-2) were held to 46 yards rushing. Brad Roman had 13 tackles for Geneva and Brian Wilson had a fumble recovery. Matt Curry’s 8-yard run early in the second quarter tied the score for Geneva, but Robbie Curley gave Salisbury the lead for good with a 53-yard scoring run in the third quarter.
Malone 33, Taylor (Ind.) 14
CANTON — Malone (5-1, 2-0 Mid-States Football Association) set a school record with 673 yards of total offense. The Pioneers scored on their third play from scrimmage, a 77-yard pass from Billy Bob Orsagh to Derek Deardorff, and never looked back. Malone limited Taylor to 149 total yards. Orsagh completed 27 of 35 passes for 380 yards and two touchdowns. Eric Hart (LaBrae) had an interception.
Urbana 9, Walsh 6
URBANA — Jacob Harfman kicked a 22-yard field goal with 2:53 remaining in the game to give Urbana the victory. Walsh (3-3, 0-2 MSFA) was held to 150 total yards and quarterback Marc Pullen was sacked a school-record 10 times.
