XBOARDMAN — Sara Elizabeth Robinson and Steven Randall Zolla, both of Boardman, exchanged wedding vows Sept. 1 during an 11 a.m. ceremony at St. Charles Church.

The Rev. Matthew Mankowski officiated, and a reception followed that evening at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Rosemary Robinson, and the groom is the son of Douglas and Janet Zolla. All are of Boardman.

The bride wore a strapless satin gown fashioned with a basque waist and sweetheart neckline.

Maid of honor was Becky Davidson of Fort Meyer, Va., and the bridesmaids were Shelby Creed of Boardman and Hayley Ciavarella of Kent, cousins of the bride; Denise White of Cincinnati; and Melissa Mihalko of Greenville, N.C. They wore champagne gowns. Dana Zolla of San Diego, niece of the groom, was flower girl.

Douglas Zolla Jr. of San Diego was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Ryan Robinson, brother of the bride, and Matthew Boyarko and Anthony Albanese, all of Boardman. Ring bearer was Benjamin Davis, cousin of the bride.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in English/political science at St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Ind., and is employed at National City Bank in Austintown.

The groom attended Youngstown State University and is employed at General Motors in Lordstown.

The newlyweds returned home to Boardman after a wedding trip to Aruba.
