XYOUNGSTOWN — Gregory Allen Bresnahan and his bride, the former Laura Elizabeth Katz, live in Howland after their marriage Sept. 2 at Stambaugh Auditorium.

Rabbi Franklin Muller officiated at 5 p.m. for the daughter of Atty. Louis and Catherine Katz of Boardman and the son of Denis Bresnahan of Hubbard, and Susanne Ellenberger, also of Hubbard.

The bride wore a white strapless gown designed with a sweetheart neckline enhanced with crystal beading and lace appliqués, and her attendants wore cranberry-red dresses.

Jennifer Katz, sister-in-law of the bride, served as her matron of honor. Rachael Ulrich, Alania Kilpatrick, Jennifer Smith and the bride’s cousin, Rachael Federer, were bridesmaids. Flower girls were Bailey, Rebecca and Ethany Bresnahan, nieces of the groom.

Shawn Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Jeffery and Kenneth Bresnahan, the groom’s brothers; Bradley Biro; and Brian Madeline. The groom’s nephews, Connor and Trevor Bresnahan, were ring bearers.

Also participating were Jason, Steven and Brian Katz, brothers of the bride, and Andrew Federer, her cousin.

Mrs. Bresnahan, who holds a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University, is a respiratory therapist in the sleep lab at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

Mr. Bresnahan, also a YSU graduate with his bachelor’s degree, is a registered nurse at Trumbull Memorial.

The couple plan a wedding trip to Costa Rica in February.
