XGIRARD — Jessica Marie Bucklew and Adam Patrick Detwiler were married Aug. 25 at Liberty Assembly of God and were honored later that day during a reception held at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.

The Rev. Robert Morris officiated at the 4 p.m. wedding for the daughter of Melissa Orr, 208 E. Wilson Ave., and the son of Galen and Roseanne Detwiler, 1430 Tomilu Drive.

The couple left for a honeymoon at Myrtle Beach, S.C., and since their return, live at 411 state Route 7, Brookfield.

Floral beading adorned the bride’s ivory halter-style gown.

Leslie Bucklew of Girard, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, wore a lilac gown with a pink sash, as did the bridesmaids, Alexis Detwiler of Austintown, a sister of the groom, and Jamie Blount of Girard.

Performing the duties of best man was Joseph Seifert of Youngstown , and groomsmen were Brian Broll of Austintown and Sam Barker of Canfield.

The bride is a nanny for twins Michael P. III and Melana Crosby of Cortland, who served as ring bearer and flower girl, respectively.

Both the bride and groom are attending Youngstown State University. He is a merchandiser with the Pepsi Cola Co. in Youngstown.
