XSTRUTHERS — The marriage of Jennifer M. Kantaras of Poland and David Robert Everson of Toronto, Ohio, took place at 2 p.m. Sept. 1 at St. Nicholas Church.
The Rev. Martin Celuch officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Steven and Jean Kantaras of Poland and the son of Robert and Mary Alice Everson of Toronto.
A reception followed in the ballroom at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
The bride wore a princess-line gown embellished with crystal and pearl beading and extending to a cathedral train.
Casey Kantaras of Poland served as honor attendant for her sister. Serving as bridesmaids were the groom’s sister, Jessica Everson of Peninsula; Nina Sutterlin of Peninsula; Elise Liga of Boardman; and Cassie Lippillo of Athens, Ohio. They wore teal dresses.
Serving as best man for his brother was Alan Everson of Peninsula.
Groomsmen were Mark Crowe of Stratton, Kevin Pullins of Massillon, Brent Kantaras of Poland, the bride’s brother, and Jabin Williamson of Lebanon, Pa.
The bride earned a doctor of pharmacy degree at LECOM School of Pharmacy in Erie, Pa., and is employed as a pharmacist by Giant Eagle in Akron.
The groom, an alumnus of Bethany College and LECOM School of Pharmacy, earned a doctor of pharmacy degree and works as a pharmacist at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
After honeymooning at St. John in the Caribbean, the couple reside in Canton.
