XCAMPBELL —Cheryl Swierz and Matthew Bieri, both of 113 Forest Hill Drive, Amherst, were married at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 1 at St. Joseph the Provider Church.
The Rev. Michael Swierz officiated, and a reception followed at St. Lucy Parish Center.
The bride is a daughter of Thomas and Karen Swierz, 860 Forde Ave., Amherst, and the groom’s parents are Daniel and Kimberly Bieri, also of Amherst.
The bride wore an ivory dress, and her attendants wore coral dresses. Honor attendants were her sisters, Rebecca Swierz of Toledo and Christina Swierz of Akron. Bridesmaids were Lisa Dombrosky and the groom’s sisters, Emily Bieri and Amanda Griffith, all of Amherst. Flower girl was Lauren Glova of Charlotte, N.C., cousin of the bride.
Sharing the duties of best man were Andrew Bieri of Vermilion, the groom’s brother, and Fred Miller of Elyria. Groomsmen were Jason Herron of North Ridgeville, and Dougie Cairns, the groom’s cousin, and David Griffith, his brother-in-law, both of Amherst. Anthony Swierz III of Deerfield, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Bieri earned a bachelor’s degree in middle-childhood education at Ashland University and is as an intervention specialist at Summit Academy in Lorain.
Mr. Bieri attended Lorain County Community College in Elyria and works as a laborer for Daniel Bieri Construction in Amherst.
The couple reside in Amherst.
