XTROY, Mich. — The wedding of Caren Anne Bieterman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bieterman of Rochester Hills, Mich., formerly of Youngstown, and David Michael Stajninger, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Slavko Stajninger, also of Rochester Hills, took place July 28 at St. Lucy Church.
The couple were honored later that day during a reception at Boulder Pointe Golf Club in Oxford, Mich.
The bride’s dupioni silk gown was accented with beading, and she held a bouquet of green cymbidium orchids.
Espresso-brown dresses were worn by her honor attendants, Patricia Gruits and Beth Smith, and bridesmaids, Amy Stajninger, a sister of the groom; Lynn Capezio, cousin of the bride; and Raychl Powers. Flower girls were MacKenzie and Kyleigh Morrison, also her cousins.
Serving as best man was Peter Sassalos, and groomsmen were Jack Bieterman, a brother of the bride; John Monroe, the bride’s cousin; Anthony and Tom Butorac, cousins of the groom; Milan Devon; Colin Land; Chris Tull; and Elliot Walter. Ring bearer was the groom’s cousin, Nate Britton.
The bride graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in economics. She is an internal auditor with the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The groom, a consultant with Harbour Consulting of Troy, graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in industrial engineering.
The couple traveled to Hawaii for a two-week honeymoon and live in Royal Oak, Mich.
