XYOUNGSTOWN — James Grant Heinbaugh and his bride, the former Candace Rose Miranda, exchanged their wedding vows Sept. 8 during a 5 p.m. ceremony at Fellows Riverside Gardens’ Kidston Pavilion in Mill Creek Park.
Judge Scott Hunter solemnized the marriage of the daughter of Nancy Palipchak of Niles and the late Guy Miranda and the son of Jerry and Joann Heinbaugh of 5230 Nashua Drive, Austintown.
The couple accepted congratulations afterward at a reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Center.
The bride’s strapless A-line gown was fashioned of tiered layers of organza and tulle and featured a beaded bodice.
Maid of honor was Amanda Glendenning of Wilmington, N.C. Kellie Treharn of Austintown and Heidi Palipchak of Brookfield, cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids, and Sydney Heinbaugh, daughter of the groom, served as flower girl. They wore eggplant-colored dresses.
The groom’s best man was James McCormick, of Austintown, and groomsmen were Michael Treharn of Austintown and William Dunn of Columbiana. Connor Hosa of Boardman was ring bearer, and ushers were Shane Hosa of Boardman, cousin of the groom, and Todd Setree of Austintown.
The bride attended Marietta College, and the groom holds a degree in psychology from Kent State University. Both are self-employed as owners of Step Ahead in Youngstown.
After honeymooning in Garden City, S.C., the couple live at 458 Glacierview Drive.
