XBOARDMAN — St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park was the setting Aug. 18 for the wedding of Amanda Brandon and Jeremy Giese, both of 6511 Marsol Road, Cleveland.
The daughter of James and Susan McMann of Boardman and the son of Bill and Jeanne Giese of Youngstown exchanged nuptial vows during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony officiated by the Rev. David Thomas.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception held later that day at The Georgetown before leaving for a honeymoon trip to Mobile, Ala.
Since returning, they live in Cleveland.
Chistine Rovnak, the bride’s honor attendant, wore a red and white gown, as did the bridesmaids, Ashley Toney, Jenna Vrabel, Rena Meadows and Christine Brandon, the bride’s sister-in-law.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s brother, Aaron Giese, and groomsmen were Daniel Livesay, Joseph James and the bride’s brothers, Michael and Jeremy Brandon. Ushers were David Livesay, John Luc and Jeremy Ring, and also participating were the bride’s cousins, Melissa, Brittany and Heather Barron.
Mrs. Giese is a registered nurse at the Cleveland Clinic. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Mr. Giese is a roofer/carpenter with USA Roofing in Cleveland.
