Sheridan-Sacawa engagement is being announced

XBOARDMAN — The engagement of Molly Marie Sheridan of New York City and Brian Theodore Sacawa of Baltimore, Md., is being announced by parents of the bride-elect, Thomas P. and Susan Sheridan, 7048 Amherst Ave.

Parents of the future groom are Theodore and Barbara Sacawa of Schenectady, N.Y.

Ms. Sheridan graduated from the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is the managing editor of NewMusicBox.org and producer of CounterstreamRadio.org programs at the American Music Center. She is the host of Carnegie Hall’s Sound Insights podcasts and a contributing writer to Time Out and SYMPHONY magazine.

Mr. Sacawa graduated from the University of Michigan, the Peabody Conservatory of Music and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He is a Grammy Award-winning concert saxophonist and an internationally featured soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. He is co-founder of the duo Hybrid Groove Project and serves as a saxophonist with the United States Army Field Band in Washington.

Invitations will be issued for the wedding and reception that will take place Feb. 9, 2008, at the Mansion House Porch in Baltimore.
