BOARDMAN — A car seat check up event will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday at Babies R Us, 1240 Doral Drive. Reservations are preferred and can be made by calling (330)-675-2590, but walk-ins are also welcomed. This year is the Year of the Belt — 85 percent restraint usage is the goal in Ohio, the Mahoning Valley Safe Kids Coalition said.
