Parents announce Popovich-Syvanych wedding plans

XYOUNGSTOWN — Joseph and Georgiann Popovich, 82 Loch Heath Lane, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Kay Popovich of the same address, to John Adam Syvanych Jr. of 1335 Douglas Ave.

Parents of the prospective groom are John A. Syvanych Sr., 4054 Adeer Lane, Canfield, and Karen Warren of St. Augustine, Fla.

Invitations will be issued for the couple’s fall wedding Oct. 27 at St. Christine Church and reception that evening at The Georgetown in Boardman.

The bride-elect holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Youngstown State University and is an accountant for North Coast Energy Inc. in Austintown.

The prospective groom, who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting at YSU, is employed by R.M. Smith in Canfield.
