Frankie Muniz to guest on ‘Criminal Minds’

First Dawson now Malcolm? Oh “Criminal Minds,” why must you keep toying with our favorite child stars?

Frankie Muniz, best known as the eponymous star of “Malcolm in the Middle,” will guest star on CBS’ popular serial killer drama “Criminal Minds,” following in the image-shifting footsteps of last year’s Super Bowl guest James Van Der Beek.

CBS has scheduled Muniz’s episode for Nov. 28, the last night of the all-important November sweeps period. Muniz will play a famous comic book artist who becomes involved in the search for a serial killer.
