Fire hits vacant North Side home

YOUNGSTOWN — A fire at 1520 Kensington Ave. at 5 a.m. today started in the living room of the vacant house and burned through a wall next to the electric meter, the fire department said. The occupants had moved out two days ago. Damage was set at $3,000 and the cause remains under investigation.
