Cortland water must be boiled

CORTLAND—Residents are advised to boil drinking and cooking water or any water used for consumption for at least two to three minutes.

The city has experienced a water line break on West Main Street at the intersection of state Route 46. The break was isolated at approximately 7 a.m. today but has not been completely repaired at this point. The boil alert will continue until further notice
