TONIGHT

TONIGHT

Youngstown State University Theater couldn’t have found a better place to put on “Murder In the Cathedral” than the adjacent St. John’s Episcopal Church, just down the block from its home court, Ford Theater (Bliss Hall). “Murder in the Cathedral” tells the martyrdom of Thomas Becket, archbishop of the Church of England, in 1170, and St. John’s looks like it belongs in that era. Curtain times are 8 tonight, Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Call (330) 941-3105.

FRIDAY

The Total Package Band, with Lucky Penny, are at B&O Station, 530 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. The party starts at 10 p.m. Admission is $5.

Here’s what is playing at community theaters:

Graduates of the 3 Doors Down-Fuel school of rock is Cleveland’s Three Miles Out. The relentlessly touring band has built a nice following in Northeast Ohio and beyond, but hasn’t really been seen very much in Youngstown. That changes tonight when TMO comes to the Ice House, 5516 W. Webb Road, Austintown, for a 10 p.m. show. Call (330) 544-8800.
