Indictment comes from shooting at neighbors
YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted a 42-year-old East Florida Avenue man on three counts of felonious assault with firearm specifications in a March 23 incident, in which his neighbor and two of her sisters were fired upon.
John Platt’s neighbor told police Platt threatened to shoot her and her dog and blow up her car. When her sisters arrived and joined her on her porch, several shots were fired at them, but nobody was injured. Police said they found a pistol clip in Platt’s house but not the gun.
