What: Youngstown Area Jewish Film Festival

When: 4 p.m. Sunday, USA Cinema, Great East Plaza, Niles, “Live and Become”; 7 p.m. next Thursday, DeBartolo Hall auditorium, YSU, “West Bank Story” and “Blues by the Beach”; 2 p.m. Oct. 14, Butler Institute of American Art, “The Rape of Europa”; and 7 p.m. Oct. 17, USA Cinema, “Sweet Mud.”

Tickets: $8 ($7 for seniors; $6 for teens, YSU students); a festival pass for all five films is $27. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or in advance at the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane.
