The following have received recognition:
GIRARD — Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley has been awarded the non-profit organization’s Bronze Summit Award for the second year and has qualified as a 2007 Peak Performance Team Award finalist. The Summit Award is one of Junior Achievement’s highest honors. It is given by the JA worldwide organization to local JA offices that have maintained outstanding success in financial stability, program growth, program quality and overall management effectiveness.
BOARDMAN — Cheryl Hudak, owner of Travel Dimensions of Boardman, was elected president and chief executive of the American Society of Travel Agents for the second consecutive year. Hudak opened her business in 1985 and expanded in 1996 by buying another travel agency. She has been a member of the ASTA since 1986 and has held a variety of leadership posts.
