Fire damages lawyer’s office

AUSTINTOWN — A fire in an architect’s office at 54 Westchester Drive did $25,000 worth of damage, the township fire department said.

The fire broke out at the office of Art Morris between 6:30 a.m. and 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, the fire department said.

No one was in the office at the time. A lamp ignited paper and caused the fire, a report says.

The office had extensive fire and smoke damage, but the rest of the building had only smoke damage, the department said.
