XCLEVELAND HEIGHTS — Elizabeth Athena Fisher and John Ryan Fisher were united in marriage Aug. 25 during a 2 p.m. ceremony performed by Renee Weiss at their home at 3540 Glen Allen Drive, where a reception was also held.
Afterward, the couple left on a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The bride is a daughter of Mark A. Fisher, 7975 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, and Anita E. Groubert, 7678 E. Parkside Drive, Boardman. The groom is a son of Mike and Jeanne Fisher, 7869 James Island Way, Jacksonville, Fla.
Fashioned of organza, the bride’s strapless A-line gown was detailed with satin ribbon, and her veil was gathered to a headpiece of Austrian crystals.
Chocolate-brown and celery-green gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Eve Fisher of Stow, and the bridesmaid, Christine Galvin of Stow, her cousin.
The groom’s father was best man, and groomsmen were Larry Mims and John Kiddy, both of Jacksonville. Usher was the bride’s brother, Mark S. Fisher of Boardman.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, the bride is a creative manager with Flight Options in Cleveland.
The groom is a peripheral development manager with Developers Diversified Realty in Beachwood. He graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville with a degree in literature.
