Crestview boys soccer team unbeaten in ITCL
The Rebels beat Columbiana 4-1 for their eighth straight league win.
COLUMBIANA — Crestview High remained unbeaten in the Inter Tri-County League, posting its eighth straight victory over Columbiana 4-1, Monday night.
The Rebels (12-1) got goals from Mitchell See, Nicholas Magill, Seth DuMoulin and Austin Elwonger.
Elwonger and See added assists.
Columbiana (3-12, 2-6 ITCL) had a lone goal from Eric Stryffler.
Badger 4, Warren JFK 0
KINSMAN — Juniors Jeff Ashcroft and Sam Miller had two goals apiece for Badger (10-0-1).
Shawn Brainard, Lee Matson and Miller had an assist apiece for the Braves, whose tie was against Geneva in the second game of the season.
Badger goalie Brian Logan, a junior, had 10 saves, while Ron Nickell had six stops for JFK (8-4).

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Junior forward Allyson Berry had three goals, while senior center-midfielder Carrie Ritzler added two goals for Springfield (8-3-1) in a 5-3 win over Youngstown Christian.
Katie Bretz and Ritzler each had an assist for the Tigers, who tied with Youngstown Christian earlier this season, 5-5.
Kristi Cooper had two goals, while Kara Cooper had one goal for the Eagles (7-3-2).
Youngstown Christian goalie Devanie Womack had 18 saves, while Springfield junior Heather Cozak had four stops.
Struthers 3, South Range 0
STRUTHERS — Sophomore right midfielder Helen-Marie Hird had two goals and sophomore center-midfikelder Alana Smith had the other goal for Struthers (5-4).
Sophomore Nicolette Demyan had the assist on Hird’s first goal. Both of Hird’s goals gave the Wildcats a 2-0 halftime lead. South Range goalie Lyndsey Cramer had 11 saves, while Struthers goalie Courtney Ekman stopped two penalty kicks.
Warren JFK 5, Badger 1
WARREN — Jerrica Cooper scored three goals and assisted on another as Warren JFK (6-4-3) toppled Badger as coach Billy Roberts won his 100th game.
Kellie Guarnieri and Kellie Kovac also added goals for the Eagles, while Jaclyn Kolovichand Erin McBride each had an assist.
Badger (7-5-1) had its lone goal by Maddie Anthony with an assist from Taylor Phillips.
Warren Harding 3, LaBrae 1
WARREN — Jessica Yuricek had two goals while Elena Ware had the other goal for Harding (9-2).
Mariah Brown, Anna Montecalvo and Jenna Bolino each had an assist for Harding.
Kimmie Harford tallied for LaBrae (5-5-1), with Mallory Martin assisting.
LaBrae goalie Kelsie Daniel had 29 saves, while Avrielle Merten had one save in the first half for Harding before second-half goalie Stephanie Cross added four stops for the Raiders.

Champion 6, Newton Falls 1
CHAMPION — Freshman Marissa Walker had two goals, while sophomores Katelyn Moore and Jessica Craley and juniors Erika Stevens and Heather Beachy added one apiece for Champion (7-3-3, 6-0-2 TAC).
The goals by Walker, Craley and Stevens helped the Golden Flashes establish a 3-0 halftime lead.
Jessica Connell had the lone goal for Newton Falls (3-10, 2-7).
Newton Falls goalkeepers Rebecca Humberger and Allison Snyder had four and one save, respectively, while Champion senior goalie Beth Sayers had four stops.

SALEM — In the first half Noelle Fox scored for the Cardinals (6-5-2, 6-2 MAC).
Jenny Battaglia picked up the assist.
