Card-making classes scheduled in area


In celebration of World Card-Making Day, various stamping and card-making events are being held from Thursday to Monday throughout the area to kick off the holiday card-making season.

Anyone 10 years or older is invited to participate in one of three (or all three) card-making events to be conducted by Laura Miller, Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.

Demonstrations and instructions are available as follows:

•Thursday — 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Canfield Presbyterian Church parlor, main floor, 140 W. Main St.

• Friday — 7 to 9:30 p.m. Canfield Presbyterian Church parlor, lower level classroom, 140 W. Main St.

• Saturday — 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Central YMCA, second floor, rooms 202-204, 17 N. Champion St.

The cost for each session is $25 and includes supplies to make 16 cards.
