Best Bets on TV Tonight

“Sunday Best” and “Exalted” (8 p.m., BET): Gospel music takes center stage in a new unscripted series. With a nationwide search for the most promising among gospel singers, “Sunday Best” showcases amateur talent weekly. Celebrity singers work with the newcomers, and viewers vote via text message to determine who stays or goes. The final five installments of the 10-episode series will air live. “Exalted” follows at 9 p.m., featuring biographies of ministers, illustrating how they lead their congregations and spend time with their families.

“Five Days” (8 p.m., HBO): A mother vanishes from home, and the effects of her disappearance ripple across her family, the police and media. This five-part thriller, set in the London suburb of Hertfordshire, traces the course of the investigation, the family’s trauma and confusion, and the speculation of tabloid headlines. Hugh Bonneville stars.

“Queer Eye” (9 p.m., Bravo): Get ready to say goodbye to the Fab Five. The groundbreaking reality series, “Queer Eye,” launches its fourth and final season with the first of 10 episodes. The festivities begin with a “Straight Guy Pageant” hosted by none other than Susan Lucci.

“Carpoolers” (8:30 p.m., ABC): Modern men bond over silly suburban “adventures” in what feels like an endlessly bad “SNL” skit. Single-camera sitcom premieres tonight.
