GIRARD

Nov. 23

Attempted theft: A man visiting friends at a North Avenue residence reported three men entered a work van and fled when confronted.

Criminal damaging: A Church Hill Road woman discovered damage to a portion of a wooden fence.

Nov. 24

Breaking and entering: A man found out someone broke into his East Main Street home through the front door and took five rifles from the living room.

Nov. 26

Auto theft: A woman in the 600 block of Trumbull Avenue reported the theft of her 2000 Pontiac Sunfire.

LIBERTY

Nov. 23

Arrest: Authorities took a 49-year-old Youngstown man into custody in the 4200 block of Belmont Avenue. He was wanted on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.

Nov. 24

Criminal damaging: A woman in the 4200 block of Logan Gate Road found her vehicle’s front and rear windows had been smashed.

Nov. 25

Criminal damaging: A man tossed a rock and shattered a car’s rear windshield in the 200 block of Euclid Avenue.

Arrest: Authorities picked up a 41-year-old Youngstown man walking on Belmont Avenue after finding out he was wanted on a warrant charging him with probation violation regarding traffic-related offenses.
