Two men break into Boardman home

BOARDMAN — Police were looking for two men accused of breaking into a Southern Boulevard home late Wednesday.

Police said that a woman at the home answered the door to two young men who were looking for another occupant of the house. She told them that he wasn’t home and thought they had left. A short time later, she heard the door being kicked in, ran upstairs and locked herself in a bedroom closet and called 911.

When police arrived, they found the woman in the house but no intruders. The only thing that had been reported missing was a videogame system.

Police were canvassing the neighborhood, looking for the suspects and additional information.
