Renewal levy for South Range schools set for March

NORTH LIMA — The South Range Board of Education has agreed to ask district residents to approve the renewal of a five-year, 2.5-mill levy originally passed in 1988.

The board made the decision to include the levy request on the March primary election ballot during a special meeting today.

The levy generates $430,555 a year that is used for general operating expenses, district officials said.
