$134 theft reported at Chaney

YOUNGSTOWN — A special education teacher at Chaney High School told police that she discovered $134 missing from a cabinet in her classroom early Tuesday. No damage was done to the cabinet and the key was in her desk drawer, hidden. An 18-year-old boy, not a member of the class, was seen on the security tape from 10:46 to 10:48 a.m. Monday and juggling something in his hands as he walked out of the room, reports show. The investigation has been turned over to the police department’s juvenile division.
