“A Charlie Brown Christmas” (8 p.m., ABC): It’s a holiday evergreen that never loses it freshness: “A Charlie Brown Christmas” returns once again to remind us that scrawny little trees need our love, too, that Linus knows his Bible verses and that beagles have a flair for home decor.

“Dancing With the Stars” (9 p.m., ABC): The most eventful season ever on “Dancing With the Stars” comes to an end tonight as our happy hoofers finally learn who rules the ballroom floor. First, though, they’ll do their best to pad this baby out with two hours of useless filler.

“House” (9 p.m., Fox): Dr. House selects his new team. This is kind of like “The Apprentice,” but the host is meaner than Donald Trump.
