Warren man faces assault charge

WARREN — Charles Mallory, 45, of Deerfield Avenue Southwest, was charged with felonious assault Saturday after family members reported that he had tried several times to strike them with a piece of wood.

Warren police responded to the call about 6 p.m. Mallory was transported to the Trumbull County Jail, where he awaits a prelimary hearing.
