Youngstown murder suspect surrenders in Allentown, Pa.


YOUNGSTOWN — A man wanted in connection with the weekend shooting death of James E. Dow turned himself in to police in Allentown, Pa., late Tuesday night, police said. If Edward E. Taylor II, 19, of Youngstown waives extradition he could be brought back to town as early as today. Police spoke to a relative of Taylor and arranged to have the suspect turn himself in. Taylor is charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Dow, 28, of South Lakeview Avenue was found dead inside the basement of 145 Thornton Ave. around 6:45 p.m. Sunday.
