Nov. 15

Burglary: A Moyer Avenue man discovered a break-in at his apartment. Two sleeping pills and two pictures were missing.

Theft: Police arrested a 30-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after baby clothing was stolen from Family Dollar, 4028 Market St. She also was wanted on warrants charging her with theft and larceny.

Arrest: A traffic stop on East Midlothian Boulevard led to a 39-year-old Struthers man’s arrest on a felony warrant from that city charging him with receiving stolen property.

Nov. 16

Theft: A worker for Chuck E. Cheese’s, 521 Boardman-Poland Road, reported someone hosted and failed to pay for a birthday party, costing the restaurant about $128.

Identity theft: A North Charleston, S.C., woman accused her sister, of Boardman, of opening several accounts with the accuser’s personal information. The family member also charged $6,975 worth of merchandise, the woman reported.

Theft: A North Lima woman reported the theft of four credit cards while at a Boardman-Poland Road business.

Burglary/criminal damaging: An Applecrest Court man found out someone entered his apartment through a front window and took seven DVDs, two MP3 players and a 36-inch TV. He also reported vehicle damage.

Theft: A Boardman woman, 37, was charged with stealing five articles of clothing from Kohl’s, 383 Boardman-Poland Road. The theft came to roughly $89.

Drug paraphernalia: After getting a report of someone smoking marijuana in a Boardman-Canfield Road apartment, officers charged a Boardman man, 41, with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: A Huntington Drive man reported the theft of two football jerseys. The loss came to $260.

Theft/misuse of a credit card: A Sabrina Drive woman reported her mother’s credit card had been misused to pay for a $400 snow blower.

Misuse of a credit card: A Poland woman discovered her credit card had been used without authorization to make $5,248 worth of purchases at the Southern Park Mall.

Theft: Fifteen packs of cigarettes were stolen from Smoker Friendly, 4927 Market St.

Theft: A worker for Chick Fil-A in the Southern Park Mall discovered an undisclosed amount of money missing.

Theft: A Boardman woman reported her driver’s license, four bottles of medications, a Social Security card and $40 missing from her vehicle.

Burglary: A woman noticed someone entered her Beechwood Drive residence via the front door.

Burglary: A woman called police after her South Schenley Avenue apartment had been broken into and numerous dishes were broken.

Theft: A license plate was removed from a vehicle at a Market Street business.

Criminal damaging: A woman left the Southern Park Mall and found on her car a broken driver’s-side window.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen off a vehicle at a Tiffany Boulevard business.

Theft: A 47-year-old Salem woman faced a theft count after $217 worth of clothing was stolen from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.

Nov. 18

Stolen property: After responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 6900 block of Southern Boulevard and determining the 1994 Dodge Intrepid had been stolen, authorities took three Youngstown men, two age 20 and one age 22, into custody on charges of receiving stolen property.

Theft: A Youngstown woman, 26, was accused of taking four articles of women’s clothing from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Domestic violence: Police reported hearing commotion and discovering a fight between two family members at a Charles Avenue home, where they arrested a 21-year-old Boardman man on a domestic-violence charge. The victim alleged his brother punched him in the face several times during an argument about money.

Theft: A Mineral Ridge woman reported a book bag stolen from her car while at a Pearson Circle residence.

Arrest: After receiving a tip about a wanted person at a South Avenue motel, authorities picked up a 23-year-old Youngstown man wanted on charges of probation violation and operating a vehicle while impaired.
