Youngstown police seek missing woman

YOUNGSTOWN — Anyone who knows the whereabouts of 48-year-old Blanche Weimer of South Belle Vista Avenue is asked to call the Youngstown Police Department’s Detective Division at (330) 742-8911 weekdays or 911 anytime. Detective Sgt. Ron Rodway said Weimer went missing on Oct. 23 and hasn’t been seen since. She was taken to a hospital that day and then checked herself out but didn’t return home. Weimer is white, 5 feet 7 inches and 152 pounds with long brown hair. She sometimes wears glasses. Her family is concerned because she has some mental health issues and requires medication, he said.
