Meals to be delivered to elderly

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department Senior Services Unit, a collaboration of various agencies serving the elderly, will deliver Thanksgiving meals to 50 program participants throughout the county on Wednesday. Anthem Blue Cross in Youngstown agreed to underwrite the program, said Kay Lavelle, program director. The meals will be prepared by AngeNetta’s in Canfield and distributed through Comfort Keepers on Mahoning Avenue.
