Two Chaney boys charged with felonious assault

YOUNGSTOWN — Two boys, 15 and 17, were removed from Chaney High School after a girl reported being choked from behind with the wire from a computer mouse, police said. The students accused of trying to strangle the 16-year-old girl ran out of the class room Friday and were found in the school by police. The boys were positively identified by the girl and then taken to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center to each face a felonious assault charge.
