Trooper Murphy gets Ace Award

CANFIELD — Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Stephen A. Murphy of the Canfield post has been honored with an Ace Award for excellence in auto larceny enforcement. He recovered five vehicles worth $8,200 and apprehended five suspects. A certificate, uniform ribbon and Ace license plates for display on his cruiser were presented to him at ceremonies in Ashtabula on Tuesday. Murphy, his wife and son live in Youngstown.
