A checklist of local, state and federal institutions and local businesses that will be closed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and/or Monday for the holiday. Residents of communities not listed should check their governmental office schedules.

City offices:

Youngstown and Salem, Thursday; Warren, Niles, New Castle and Newton Falls Municipal Court, Thursday and Friday; Sharon, Thursday, Friday and Monday(for the first day of deer season).

County offices: Mahoning and Columbiana, Thursday; Trumbull, Mercer and Lawrence, Thursday and Friday.

All state offices: Ohio Bureau of Jobs and Family Services offices, Thursday.

Federal offices: U.S. Post Office, Youngstown and Warren, Thursday; Federal Bankruptcy Court and District Court, Thursday and Friday.

Schools:

Youngstown, Warren, Niles, Wed. through Fri.; Salem, Wed. through Mon.; Sharon; New Castle, Thursday through Monday; Youngstown Diocese, Wednesday through Friday except Ursuline High School and St. Rose in Girard, closed Thursday and Fri.; St. Aloysius School, East Liverpool, closed Wed. through Mon. If questions, please call the school.

Universities: Youngstown State, closed Thursday and Friday.

Kent State Trumbull Campus, closed noon Wed., all day Thursday and Friday.

Western Reserve Transit Authority, Thursday.

Public libraries:

Youngstown-Mahoning County and Warren-Trumbull, Thursday.

Stock market: Butler Wick & Co., Thursday.

Banks:

Chase Bank, Charter One, Cortland Banks, Farmers National Bank, First National Bank, First Place Bank, Warren, Home Federal Savings & Loan, Niles, Home Savings & Loan, Huntington Bank, Key Bank, National City of Ohio, National City of Pennsylvania, US Bank in Poland, Boardman, Canfield and Warren area; all closed Thursday.

Trash collection:
