Search turns up wanted man
YOUNGSTOWN — The search for a fugitive turned up the wanted man and six loaded firearms at 2505 Elm Street, police said. Members of the FBI/Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force went to the two-family North Side residence looking for Scott McCleery, 28, of Lockwood Boulevard, Boardman who was wanted on a parole violation in a drug trafficking case. Officers encountered two men and a woman who said that no one else was in the place Monday afternoon. Police, though, found McCleery hiding in a rear bedroom. Three guns were found under a mattress and three were found on top of it, police said. McCleery was taken to jail and the guns were taken to the vice squad.
