after shoot-out Monday

YOUNGSTOWN — Nearly 10 pounds of marijuana was found inside 805 W. LaClede Ave. after a shoot-out late Monday afternoon between two men in the street and two men on the porch, police said.

Flying bullets hit Saeed Garner, 22, of Lansdowne Boulevard, in the arm, pierced the front of the house and made holes in two vehicles, reports show.

Garner ran from the porch to his mother’s car in the street, and she took him to St. Elizabeth Health Center, police said. His condition was not immediately available.

Police searched the house after being told by a witness that two children were inside. No one was inside, but after receiving consent to search from the residence, officers found three guns under the covers of a bed in a child’s room. Police also confiscated a five-pound brick of marijuana, four one-pound bags and three smaller bags of marijuana, reports show. No arrests were made. The investigation continues.
