2-car crash kills woman, injures 5


PITTSBURGH (AP) — A woman is dead and five others are in the hospital after a late-night crash just outside Pittsburgh.

Police say 19-year-old Candace Killinger died in the hospital after a sports utility vehicle and a sedan collided on Route 28 about four miles north of Pittsburgh. It is unclear which car Killinger was in.

Five other people were hospitalized. The accident occurred just before midnight Saturday, shutting down the two-lane highway until early Sunday.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
